Men withdraw when women are too aggressive as men have a major fear of commitment a lot of the time. In "He's Not Going to Call," Romy Miller advises women to pull back and be less desperate. She believes you scare a guy away by acting too interested. Men want to feel like they are in charge but really a woman should be setting the boundaries. Romy Miller believes women should play hard to get in order to keep a man interested. So this book is about not chasing a man away by calling him obsessively but it is also a lot more. The main idea in the book is that men love a challenge so you should give them one. Now the author thinks you should not give sex too soon to a guy but in other books about trying to get a man to marry you I've read that you should make a man wait for sex until he does marry you. That is the new thought that is actually biblical. Maybe God knows a few things about men after all. :)~The Rebecca Review

If you're used to running into a multitude of disappointing men like myself, then this book is for you. It's a no-nonsense guide to putting everything into perspective and keeping it real when it comes to men, allowing us to take the starry-eyed gaze away from the players and other losers, and helps you focus more on the important things in life. After all, who really has time to play stupid games with guys that are not really worth our time (i.e. players, one-night stands, ambiguous guys)? One good take-away that I got from this book: Stop chasing him and let him chase you which I made the mistake constantly in the past (thinking it's the 21st century with equal rights among the sexes) due to the fear of losing golden opportunities to meet the "one." Now, I definitely know better and realize it's been a crucial mistake in my experiences in the past. I would give this book 6 stars, if I could. Highly recommended.

This is a good book, very blunt and truthful. Good advice and insight into why someone does not call. Can be helpful for both women and men.

There is absolutely Nothing new in this book. Ninety nine cents were wasted with this one. Save your time and money!

It's brief but concise. If clearly explains how to go about approaching men. I have done both the negative way of being too eager and ended up losing the guy and being broken hearted, I tried the holding back version and the man absolutely wanted me, we ended up getting married. Heed the words in this this book and apply it to your dating life :)
