Such a great book to learn more about your inner self and how we put on an armor that keeps people out when we may think that we are protecting ourselves. We have to remain open and vulnerable to life in order to really live it. Though we need to balance how we defend ourselves versus build our character and self-confidence.

I love this book for the men in my life! It is a cool allegory-form that really screams out what men have been taught socially to damage their souls. It gave me great insight as a woman to the inner-motivations of their tender, caring souls and where they get tripped up by the societal & cultural ' norms' that confuse us all. My son & husband are able to relate to the characters and not follow that common path of self-destruction. My grown son has even used the name as his email address for years! I highly recommend this book and have copies on-hand to help everyone in your life!

My aunt read this book in Spanish when she lost her daughter and recommended it to my mom then read it in Spanish and recommended it to me so I found it in English and I loved gives you a better understanding of life and will definitely find something in this book that will remind u of a situation in ur I bought a second one and sent it to my boyfriend in jail and let me say he loved it and he said it made him shed some tears....this book is now being passed around in jail with all the other inmates.. Even the guard wanted to read it...if there's anything that can open a persons eyes to situations in life it's definitely this book....definitely recommend!!!!!

A short & sweet story that really helped a young-me come to terms with my own identity. It can be a little cheesy in places and a little forced in others, but I will ALWAYS recommend this book to anyone who hasn't read it.Seriously. It's in my top 5; not for quality or replay value, but because the positive impact it had was formative, crucial, and entirely beneficial.

This book is great. My father read it to me as a child and now I'm reading it to my daughter. It really teaches you how to find real happiness in life but in a way that is simple and fun to read. This book is deep and teaches you an important lesson that most of us struggle with to this day. Everyone should read this book and reference it through out their life.

This is a fantastic sorry story about conquering your fears and the importance of it being ok to be vulnerable. I would recommend this to anyone.

If you have read The Power of Now or other books on mindfulness, this is an interesting story that demonstrates many of the same principles. The Power of Now is a little too "deep" for some people - The Knight is a much quicker read. You will need to stop and contemplate the lessons but it's worth it if you believe in the power of mindfulness.
